Diamond AI’s Knowledge Base is a transparent repository comprised of separate Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) based on a Hopfield-like model. Each of these networks functions as a Knowledge Module, akin to a record in a database. These modules hold both facts and actions, allowing Diamond AI to comprehend and respond to complex scenarios. The unique encoding of these modules enables rapid searching throughout the entire library. Think of each module as a neatly organized piece of information, meticulously structured to provide swift and accurate responses, even in new situations it has never encountered before.

Our approach combines the power of the Neural Network structure with the intricacies of memory representation, making Diamond AI a cutting-edge solution that’s distinct from anything else on the market. Whereas Elastic Representations™ imbue Diamond AI with a systematic and powerful way to represent and store information in a Neural Network, Flow Constructors™ take the technology one huge step further.  Flow Constructors™ are an advanced form of Elastic Representations™.  Flow Constructors™ are Elastic Representations™ with added metadata (especially metadata that operates on the processing state) that can be used to implement complex processing flows. 

Our Associative Calculator used Flow Constructors™ to demonstrate multiplying large numbers using long-hand multiplication, just as a person multiplies. Flow Constructors™ post and operate on the processing state (e.g. it just multiplied the 2nd digit on the top number by the 4th digit in the bottom number) to orchestrate all the processing steps required to perform longhand multiplication.

This is an astonishing and exciting capability, because Deep Learning technology is completely incapable of multiplying large numbers! And while a new multiplier, may not change the world, imagine applying the power of Flow Constructors™ to other complex operations, such as intelligent manufacturing, advanced robots,  fully autonomous vehicles or fully autonomous robotic surgery!
